hey guys , hows it goin'? we're here to share new english words that we've learned, independent of their sources. u may have seen these words in books,newspapers,internet or anywhere else. if u find any word useful plz donot hesitate to share it here and don't forget to write a simple example too
pertinacious : holding firmly to an opinion or a course of action,stubborn / Example : the pertinacious dr refused to accept the judgment of a younger dr when he himself had become the patient

deciduous : falling off or shed at a specific season or stage of growth, not lasting / Example1: deciduous trees drop their leaves in the fall. Example2: children usually have 20 deciduous teeth

adjacent : being near or close, esp having a common boundary, adjoining / Example: in cellular networks, adjacent cells cannot use the same radio frequencies


adjourn : postpone, suspend, defer / Example: Boys, we'll adjourn now and meet tomorrow at the same time

unarmed : lacking weapons or armor
saber : a heavy cavalry sword with a one-edged, slightly curved blade
liken to : to compare someone or sth to someone or sth, concentrating on the similarities
indignation : anger aroused by sth unjust, mean, or unworthy

EX : his arm was badly injured and had to be amputated.
